My defender lost power and wont start. I measured the volt output to starter relay during keyswitch and its only 8,8v
The keys coil is probably dead though i have driven it the last ten years putting in eka code. But now it seems not to want to beep beep for the eka code. I have tried to bypass starter and egine starts as normal but stoms within two three secons so its the immo causing trouble. But i wonder if there’s additional problems that causes the ecu not to prompt for eka code. I have extra-earthed engine with jumpstarter cable but no success. |

I have come so far that earth in starter relay is not really earthed. Made a bypass earth then it cranks but stopps again.
Probably due to the fking immobilizer. Have to investigate which earthpoint it is then. |
