Got the 2008 Puma back from the garage today. All the brake pipes were replaced as for some reason they were in a really bad rusted state. Even though the garage is closed due to the lockdown the owner phoned and told me to drop it out and he would do them as he had planned to do them but the Covid19 lock down came. So I left her out and left the keys in front bumper and he left her out for me to collect with the keys in the front bumper. The bill was in the cubby box and the bill for labour, new pipes made to fit, new nuts and brake fluid came to €230 or £209 which I will pay next week.
It was not a main Land Rover dealer but a local garage. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

Sounds like a great service!
The garage in my village is similar, very relaxed, great service, reasonable prices. He does a lot of work with land Rovers, and currently restoring an old Series vehicle for a customer... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |
