Leak on passengers side mat
When i went to much truck this afternoon, (its been raining most of the day) i noticed a puddle in the middle of the passenger side mat, I had a look and it looks like its coming from the foot heater. I turned the fan on and even more came out, Is this normal? It's still under warranty so if it's a problem will arrange to get it fixed.

Cheers

That sounds like the two drain nipples are blocked on the heater intake. Common fault. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

yes, access through he wing top vent, the teets are in the blower box the one at the rear needs an old 'Bic' pen top cutting down and inserting in the teet to stop it clogging up again, the one to the left (standing at the front) just needs clearing through. 2.4 90 XS

Mine had a few pints in there.. a stupid design but dont be tempted to remove and not replace them as i was as the heater fan needs a good bit of suction in the duct to work. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

If you don't have any luck with the heater intake nipples (that's what I started with), try the hinges for the bonnet.

I tried everything to cure the 'leak', including buying a snow-cover for the heater intake. It didn't work.

I eventually took the bonnet off (just lifts off with 2 people), unbolted the hinges, smeared a load of gutter sealant underneath and retightened.

Not had a drop of water in since!

Thumbs Up One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS
