thanks tolley, but that's a disco 200tdi?
or are you saying that the belt has to be "rolled on" via rotating the crankshaft pulley? |

Quite often they are rolled on and many a time I have taken that plate holding the pas pump completely off to get belt on. Cheers

Success! The Dayco 17285 "rolled on" to the crankshaft pulley with no issues.
Hard to believe how much these v-belts either vary in length or stretch over time - the old belt was also a 17285, but came off the pulleys quite easily, hence my confusion. 7 year I think on that old belt. cheers mates. |
