TD5 electric windows fault
All, I have an XS Td5 so powered windows...

Recently pulled into the Gate and work and they took a good 5 of so seconds before the button responded and the Window winded down and at a slower pace.

Now it seems not to respond or respond slowly and wind down slowly.

I've taken off my wind deflectors which have always caused the winding to slow, and made a bit of impovement,

A couple of times the motor has clunked but not moved the window.

Could this be my motor going bad from strain? water damage? Bad ground?

Not overly fussed as it goes into the shop on friday. I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/

It could be caused by the glass becoming stiff in the tracks or the motor or linkage starting to seize up.

You could diagnose further by taking the door panel off and checking for lubrication of the mechanism. It is also possible to disconnect the glass from the lift mechanism and see if the motor runs at normal speed, and if the glass moves freely by hand.

Makes sense blackwolf, back when it did work the window wobbled side to side and back and forward when winding down, I'm on IG: https://www.instagram.com/osloblue42/
