I have never had to undo those bolts to remove the grill just the six large self tappers in the grill itself. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |

I’m trying to remove the panel that the grille attaches to. Charlie

Try and get something thin tapped under the head like a flat chisel or an old flat blade screwdriver to apply pressure with leverage whilst trying to turn it out.
Failing that, out with the grinder and a slitting disc. Mo The Land Rover 90 - Many are called, few are chosen. 50 Shades of Pennine Grey |

I think trying to get some pressure on it will be my next port of call Charlie

Had the same issue and tried in vein for days to remove it!! Drilled it out in the end after countless hour swearing and skinning my knuckles.

I think I’ll have a go at cutting the head off the bolt tomorrow. Seems the simplest way forward Charlie

Spin the nut head on an impact gun, or drill chuck, whilst up against a hacksaw blade and cut head off.
That after trying Mo'S idea with flat headed screw driver and leverage Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

Mission accomplished. A few minutes of dremel work and the bolt is no more! The tab and square nut had separated so the nut was just spinning around inside. Charlie
