I had this on my first Defender, a 300tdi, hard to see the point to be honest! At the time I would have preferred to just have the sidelights on, that's more of a classic look, as long as they have standard bulbs Thumbs Up

There is an econoseal plug under the drivers side (RHD) wing for it. Simply unplug it. This should then mean your headlights are off on sidelight. On dipped or main only. My headlight DRL is only on with sidelight because I bought LED’s with sidelight function piggybacked via the sidelights above. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R

It's tucked up under the top surface of the o/s wing, not far from the aerial.

Thank you
Found the connector and unplugged it. Everything is working without the Dim Dip.
It really is the small things that can make one happy !

Good job. When I did mine I also bought some male and female Econoseal connectors. Sealed the rear entries and plugged them in also.
This just safely seals up the connections and keeps them clean. Wink

Blackwolf originally pointed me in the right direction of finding it, it's not that easy to find either. Thumbs Up $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R
