Thanks for all the comments.
I will probably look at bringing the price closer to what has been suggested. |

I assume you're advertising elsewhere? Whilst it is a beauty I think you're asking a top dealer price for a private sale. If you're not in a hurry then hold tight someone is sure to want it. James

its challenging, when pricing your defender, not to be taken in by the very high prices some dealers are pitching cars at.
I guess you've got to decide how quick you want to sell it, if your after a fairly quick sale the price has to reflect that, there are so many to choose from. You've also got to consider how much are the upgrades you've invested in worth to the next buyer, to most of us small enhancements are nice to haves but in my experience Upgrades/enhancements are subjective and many buyers want to buy standard rather than someone else's style choice A few months ago I half hearty advertised my 2015 90 with 20k miles, didn't get even a sniff at £28.5 plus vat, so for the moment, until I need to sell it, ii keep appreciating it I not likely to ever get another as nice if I do sell it! Unfortunately I am not in a position to sit on this forever while it sells. So I may need to think about dropping the price closer to £30K remembering the is no VAT to pay on this vehicle.
Perhaps removing the Recaro's and fitting some premium seats would help take it back closer to standard. |
