intermittent hard clutch
HI,

I have a 2011 5 door SW, 2.4 Puma with 47000 Kms on the clock.

On a recent trip the clutch all of a sudden became very hard. Still worked but progressively hard as the pedal was depressed. In addition when the pedal was released it returned slowly.

this went on for about an hour then went back to normal!

Any ideas on the issue here?

thanks

Are you getting an intermittent rattle from the clutch too? Could be your clutch springs making their way out.

Yep sounds like the springs are about to fall out. I’d get it sorted now before it gets stuck and you’re stuck at the side of the road.
