DIY Windscreen Crack Repair Kits

Off topic as it's related to Toyotas but hopefully someone can advise?

For work we run a fleet of Toyota 4x4s in Zambia and are forever having windscreens cracked due to rocks thrown off truck tyres etc. New windscreens are either cheap Chinese which don't last or very expensive from a Toyota main stealer and the police road-blocks are quite hot on fining people for cracked screens. Nobody here seems to offer a quick repair so it's a case of new screen or a police fine.

Does anyone have experience with the various kits on Amazon for DIY crack repair? I was looking at something like this:

2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Landmark LE Corris Grey

I have successfully used one of these kits on a small chip. Worked a treat and was almost invisible when cured.
Not certain how successful it would be on anything larger than 1-3 mm though.
