Annecy (again) in the truck :)
OK so another great holiday in Annecy Thumbs Up

Car was packed with all the stuff you need for two weeks away and the bikes / bike trailer. Around 2300 Miles in the two weeks. (Its 850 miles from our house to the house in Annecy) one day we drove 560 Miles in a day. Toll roads in france (with the pass) happy at 70mph all day long. Did go higher on a few occasions. Are these cars limited? as my GPS showed 94 cough cough kph at one point....

Anyway worked a treat, Very very hot 40 degrees hot, Air con although re filled before trip only just copped. We were there during a heat wave I think, never been that hot before.

One thing I missed was Cruise, my foot actually aches holding the pedal. I may have to get this fitted. Amazingly and I don't know how coming back from canterbury to Cheshire loaded I got 34.6 mpg my best ever.

Any way some pictures .

Ready for the off...

Then I rode round the lake trying to beat my time.... I did 1.15 last time,

So we head back... when I say the car was full going coming back we also had around 18 bottles of wine and the little lad loved ice tea so around 30 Litres of that also Smile

We also stopped and camped there for a few nights one euro trip, nice place but the weather was rather cool at the time.

I do love the french campsite infrastructure, you generally know what to expect. 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Good photos. It’s a lovely place. I’m interested on how to connected your bike rack to the tow hitch. I’m looking for that very thing. Thanks

Hello

Its a thunderman Boom bar. Around £110 but I already had the thule rack so seems to make sense.

Works a treat,

Get the cruise fitted. I wished for it to the Pyrenees and back. For Morocco had it fitted and it’s been amazing. 4000miles done so far it’s totally changed the vehicle for long distance. 1951 80" S1 2.0
