I would say equal fuse box max load. However mine is fed off the second battery feeding the fridge freezer so it is permanently live, so only a fused supply! Thumbs Up

I have installed a BEP DVSR (Digital Voltage Sensitive Relay) in my twin battery system.
It can handle 120A (so close to the 100A maximum of the Blue Sea) and it automatically switches on and off depending on the voltage.
If the voltage of your battery reaches a critical low, it switches off so you're sure that you will be able to start. When the car is running and thus the alternator delivers a decent voltage it switches on.
You can switch off the BEP by installing a separate switch, and there is also the option for a remote LED that lights when the relay is switched on.
AFAIK there's no way to force the relay to remain switched on below the minimum voltage.
Being digital it has a very low own consumption. 0.03A if I'm not mistaken.

Edit: you can force Cyrix relays to switch on, albeit for a limited time.

Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but it might nevertheless be interesting depending on what you wangrzetings,

Joris
