perishing OE floor mat, whats the alternative
Yep the ol money box is rattling again and the original floor mats have been falling apart after just 7 years. Honestly LR should be ashamed. Anyway is there a decent moulded replacement that does't cost crazy amounts. My Defender and travels

In the back I have the Naka one from Brendan. Seems pretty good.

Thanks Martin, but I'm looking for the foot well-transmission tunnel-seat box moulded type mat, like the standard OE matting when you buy from LR. I have protection mats or insert mats that are working ok. Just the backing on the OE vinyl has crumbled away, and every time you look under or to clean it crumbles more. My Defender and travels

Same here. Quite bad quality. I'll have to renew it at some point. Puma 110" SW

I can highly recommend the Wright off road (aka exmoor trim) moulded mat system. Absolutely fantastic quality and hard wearing too.

Will take pics if you like.

Pics, yes please.

I have been looking at replacing mine for a while now as the original one is falling to pieces.

Is this the same as the E Trim version then? Not clear on the website if it will fit a 211 Puma?

Cheers.

yep do that geobloke please.
In Aus I can get the OE mats from LR at AU400 including taxes. The exmore comes in at AU 850 landed attracting no tax. If its the 7 or 9mm think army spec one I have heard reports of average sound and heat reduction, plus one adds another 30kg to the trucks weight roughly. And my door rubs olin the seat box with the standard 3.5mm thickness. Kind of thinking if its taken 7 years for the OE to really crap itself, than I get 14 years from 2 OE's and still cheaper than an exmoor. Sounds harsh but thats reality of the very expansive exmoor product.

Was hoping, still looking for an aftermarket similar to standard in price and thickness, just made far better. My Defender and travels

I had the Naka one in front... got worn thru in about 3 years ~50k km. Also the rubber lip got a bit deformed very early on so it never really fit quite right after that.

Will probably go with the exmoor trim stuff for the tunnel/seat box/etc.

I bought OE rubber fitted mats when I purchased for the front and rear of my 130. They have worked very well and fit nicely. So nicely in fact I did away with the original rear offering and just put left moulded and shouldered fitted mat there. Over my 180K km I have almost warn holes on the drivers side under the pedals. So recently I cut rectangles from of the original rear offering and glued patches on the with polyurethane adhesive. I recall paying AU$300 from the dealer for them when I bought, and doubt I can buy just one. So I opted for a truly Land Rover fix of practicality over look. My Defender and travels
