NOW SOLD
Safari Equip 2" receiver and drop plate for 90 PUMA - never fitted. This is still in the bubble wrap and due to change of plans, I am not going to fit it so it is for sale. These are £170 new from SE or Brendan of course. If someone is willing to collect or sort their own courier, I will see it gone for £150 (located near Wells in Somerset). This is apparently what it looks like under the bubble-wrap (note: does not come with the billet recovery insert/shackle) Phil Last edited by Orangesofa on 31st Mar 2017 12:06pm. I presume that it won't fit a 110?
If it fitted a 110, I'd buy it! |

I am happy to be told I am wrong but believe it is 90 only as you have to specify model when ordering.
Shame.... Phil |

If it helps, the box I received yesterday from Safari Equip containing the 110 version of this was labelled 8KG.
The difference between the 110 and 90 versions is, as we suspected, the length and shape of the two side braces. |

Well the box says 'Weight 10.00' but when it goes on the scales it is 16.8kg!
Box is 60cm x 30 x 20 if that helps with your quote. Phil |

Thanks - yes DPD give a reasonable price. Either you can drop off at a DPD collection place if there is one local to you, or I can arrange a courier collection.
If you PM me details for payment and courier (suspect they'll want a contact number), then I'll organise everything. Alternatively if its easier for you to organise with DPD I'm happy to pay the courier charge. |

I thought it seemed excessively heavy for 8Kg as I carried it about half-a-mile from the courier's warehouse to the nearest parking space! Perhaps it said 16.8Kg but the "16." got covered in parcel tape. I feel better now, I thought that I was struggling a bit much for 8Kg! |

There are different versions of the 2" Receivers.
There are 4 variations 1) Defender 90 TDi 2) Defender 90 TD5/TDCi 3) Defender 110 TDi 4) Defender 110 TD5/TDCi None available for Series Vehicles however it might be possible to adapt a later version 110 weighs in at just below 17 kg whereas the 90's weigh a smidgen over 16kg Brendan |
