I hope you are well. I bought one for my 2.4 a while back. I emailed FEMCO and the mail they sent back:

Quote:
The drain plug you require is a DP1039 Femco Plug M14x1.5 T11.5 at £25.50 and a drain tube DP1023 Drain tube, 600mm at £10.75. Carriage will be £2.50. With VAT the total will be £46.50. If this is acceptable we will send a paypal invoice which you can pay online. When we get the funds we will ship 1st Class post.

I fitted one to my Td5 but it is deathly slow. Is this a 'feature' of them, or is mines not opening far enough? Apart from that I am very happy with it.

It is slower than just removing the std drain plug, but not too bad. Benefit is no tools, and super clean to do - just a 27mm for the oil filter.

Assuming oil is thin and hot it's OK. Saves you scalding your hand on the hot oil Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

They are excellent, had one on my 300TDi for about 12-years now.
Yes, they do flow better if the oil is warm.

Took the one off my wife's Freelander 1 TD4 when we sold it the other day, available for anyone who is interested. ONE LIFE, GET IT!

Sorry for the wrong advice copied from another D2 thread, that's why I advised to phone Femco to check Thumbs Up

Taken from the web site

Details

Drainplug M16 X 1.5 T10/37L - Standard Series

Eliminate messy oil changes forever!

The Difflock supplied drain plug allows you to carefully control the speed and flow of oil from the sump when servicing your vehicle. No more oil spills on hands, driveways, axles, anti-roll bars, exhausts, chassis, or anything else that might be in the way.

Once fitted, it eliminates the risk of cross-threading or damaging the sump threads especially on aluminium sumps. The Difflock supplied drain plug contains multiple internal O-rings to ensure a complete oil-tight seal, and is patented worldwide.

You will need to buy a universal drainer hose with your first drain plug, but if you are buying more than 1 drain plug, you do not need additional drainer hoses since 1 drainer hose will fit them all.

Suitable for:

Defender TD5
Discovery TD5

On the container that the drain plug comes in you will find a torque setting make sure you torque to that value, it’s important to do so. Thumbs Up For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..
