Just a quick one before i buy for my 90..
How much height increase is caused from the rack install? my truck is lowered so from the roof to the top of the rack would be great if anybody knows.. Does the ladder require any drilling on the rear? would obviously prefer to not drill... Guessing the rack has rubber protection between rack and ladder...? Also, wheres the best deal to be had? Are the Hannibal racks worth the extra money over say a Flat Dog rack? Genuine question as I do keep being drawn to a rack. James

Just checked and my passport says I wasn't born yesterday! So no deal
I know I was amazed that this guy put it up and no one bidder on it so I got it for the staring price and as I was at my parents that weekend I made arrangement to get it as it was in Lincolnshire and I was in Norfolk at the time. I've had a couple of barging like that. I once bought an iforwilliams back for my old double cab for £50 in Yorkshire and sold it in a bidding war in Aberdeenshire for £150. My current plan is to just buy new, I don't have one specific use for the Hannibal, and to be fair I just prefer the look over the flatdog, if it's permanently on, I'd prefer to like the look of it...
Hannibal have been around long enough and are the go too for most proper expedition builds, I also like the full length guttering |

There was never any other rack considered really... I only merely asked some questions about the Hannibal one...
If the lazer lamp will fit and how much it will increase the height of the defender so if I can work out garage clearance... |

I have mine on at the minute so can measure it in the morning, but with regards to lazer lights BP man used to have his 40" rigid industries fitted under the front of it between the rack and the roof. Just decide where you want to fit them and drill the rack to suit Russell

Just measured upo the back of the 110, it 2075mm from the ground to the top of the rack and then 2175mm from the ground to the top of the luggage rail.
Obviously measurements will be different for a 90 as the back of a 110 sits slightly higher. Also I'm running 265,75,16s Russell 2011MY 110 XS USW Black |
