Hi, I've seen a lot of Defender here with Bowler front aluminium bumper, but I cannot find info about the Paddock aluminum bumper...I like the tapered ends, while Bowler's is like the original bumper!
Does someone has experience with this? Click image to enlarge Matteo Defender 110 Td4 SE MY 09 |

Is nice but will it just crack too easily with relatively light contacts?

You need to put a separate post up about that, especially if you have had no satisfaction from the vendor |

The originals are made of steel and are not terribly resistant to knocks and bumps, so I'm puzzled by anyone expecting better from an aluminium bumper, paticularly one that is full of holes !

Probably saved the chassis from damage... The bumper is basically a crumple zone... I'd rather replace a bumper than risk possible chassis damage

I cannot see it being a crumple zone as it is bolted direct onto the chassis and is almost an end cap for the chassis. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to us off. Richard |
