I almost always wave, but some parts of the country have a lot more wave-repliers than others.
I don't wave on motorways or if I'm at a junction. |

It's a bit like Russian Roulette?
If I wave, and they don't, I end up feeling a bit of a c##k! 
I don't bother with the farm trucks, but I did get a wave from one for the first time last week, Which took me by suprise, and I never even waved back. 
At least I think it was a wave?..... 
Some do, some don't I can't see any pattern to it? 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I'm guessing he only waves to 110 drivers because that's what he has. When he had the 90 did he only used to wave if you were in a 90?

I pretty much Wave at any Defender version,
The only exception the water board trucks with the cherry pickers 
There a young lady I've noticed a few time now on my way to work in a white 90, she gives the biggest smile and a wave as we pass... I think it must be new to her (the 90)  |

Maybe he knows Mrs Greeni, and connects the 90 with her, and has reasons not to wave...
Just a thought.

I suspect he doesn't wave at pick-up 90's as in my experience I rarely get a wave back from utility/farmer Defender drivers.
However I wave at all Defenders, I thought it was the law  James

Assuming I see a Defender in time (bombing down the motorway being the main exception) I always wave. Even had a couple of HM forces wave back in the past. 1995 300 Tdi Epsom Green - It's a keeper.
