If you want 4 + seats then td5 it is
Puma is a bit more user friendly in terms of drivability ease of clutch etc For me having gone from td5 to puma and then back again td5 wins but each to their own some good 90csw's out there just gotta find one in good condition 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid) 2002 90 TD5 Hardtop (Sully) Sold 1998 300TDi D1 (Billy) Sold |

I'd tread careful around pennine autos, I know you can't please all the people all the time but............http://forum.landrovernet.com/showthread.php/268222-Pennine-autos-bradford
I was interested in a 90 they had for sale about 10 months ago, when I dug a bit deeper it put me off, As for tdci or td5', tdci is quieter, gearbox has longer legs, however I found, and I run several 110/130 at work, the tdci seem to have been a bit more problematic than the td5's, it's a bit more complex and I'm not sure the build quality is as good. |

I guess the old adage of "Buyer beware" springs to mind when reading of Pennine Autos and the link posted by Trebro, also add in "no smoke without fire" and perhaps it maybe worth widening your search to other garages to find the Landy your seeking? The TD5 has a nicer sounding engine but the Puma maybe more suitable for you. Good luck in your search.

Yeah - of course I'm not limited to these two garages and since I would likely need to fly over I can go anywhere. Just saw these two while browsing , thought they looked interesting and wondered what anyone thought as it will start costing a bit much in fares if I have to go and view too many !

Or a 2003 G4 from Radcliffe racing on carandclassic - might have to walk there to safe travel costs and put up my budget.
