After I've been driving an hour or so, seemingly when I'm going downhill my car goes in to limp and the ultrgauge (usually) comes up with error 0234 which my IIDTool says is Turbo Overboost.
Any idea what I should be looking at? Other symptoms are that is sometimes sounds a bit rough/rattly under partial throttle although some days is really quiet, and there's a dead spot around 2300 rpm when you're accelerating. EGR is disabled. VCV? |

Maybe a stiffy linkage/motor adjustment of turbo-guide vanes?

Turbo linkage would be worth checking.
