I fitted them 3 years ago (albeit on a TD4 Freelander), I fitted them at 146,ooo miles.. the car has now don't 220,000 with no issues whatsoever.. the hoses all look fine, even after the oil cooler went, filled the cooling system with oil and covered the engine bay in oli, cleaned them off and they all seem good..
so 3 years and nearly 100,000 miles they're great! I went to their place to pick them up, just a unit in Burton on trent, but they were putting a lot of work into their hoses, and offered to make mine bespoke for my 90 200tdi.. as I wanted the intercooler pipes re routing slightly.. My 1986 90 is currently on a full rebuild, with new chassis, Paint etc.. Very much a hybrid, TD5 Chassis, tub & bulkhead with a 200TDI and LT77 GB Painted in Stornoway Grey 2 years off the road, but getting close to completion now |

Hi All
We supply Samco Silicone Hoses which are some of the best quality hoses on the market today. Our Silicone hoses come with a Flurosilicone liner to prevent oil bleeding through and also come with a fit and forget guarantee. Its like with everything you can always buy cheap but sometimes you may end up buying twice, im not saying thats the case here but its just a general rule i suppose. If you need anything else at all just drop me a message or give me a call today before 5pm on 01472 812900. Best Regards Alex Divers |

Just ordered some from DPH Sport. Custom made to order (in the UK) and in black, should be with me Tuesday
Billy bargain at £45 - fingers crossed they don't leak. I've done a bit or reading and am confident they are good quality No offence to Alive, clearly they are also amazing quality (but i'm getting married next Thursday so don't have they extra cash-a-roo to be throwing about) TD5 Defender 90 Discovery 3 HSE |

I have DPH hoses on my 110 and they are fine. Did you also order the broader clamps rather than using normal jubilee clips? |

I think the upgrade is worth it. They spread the load over a wider area
