Would a vinyl wrap / signage void any warranty?
I'm looking in to having the Defender part vinyl wrapped / signed up for the business and was wondering if anybody know whether this would have an impact on any of the LR warranty?

With Dolly only been a several weeks old - and having spent the majority of her time in my ownership back in the dealership having warranty work carried out! - I don't want to do anything that would void it so early on!

Any advice / experience?

Thumbs Up

Cannot see any reason why applying a wrap/signwriting would invalidate a warranty. Just think of how many company owned Land Rovers are on the road with the company's name plastered all over it.

Only exceptions might be if the paintwork is damaged by the application (think scalpel cuts) of 'stickers' or if any other warranty work necessitates the removal of a wrap (i.e. to fix a leak between body panels).

I'd like to witness the dealer claiming they cannot fix transmission oil leaks under warranty - all because you have applied your company name along the side of the Defender.

What might be more problematic is if you don't advise your insurance company that the Defender has been wrapped to promote a business or service?

Pose the question in the Land Rover Customer Relations section on here. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

Hi just thought I'd show you that I've recently bought a ex eon utility that had been professionally wrapped in white and I took it to the jet wash for a wash which had started to peel the wrap off and the clear lacquer coat with in underneath Big Cry I'm not to sure whether it was been on there a long time though so had a long time to adhere
