I think because of the outcry from public opinion and the press they cut out the footage of the doughnuts around the Cenotaph. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Watched the whole programme for the first time last night and thought it was OK.
Dunno about Evans but the rest seemed pretty good. |

I agree much better last night! Like someone said earlier, hopefully this is just a slow transition to a much better program. James

I hate it, if hate is a strong word. Even I have to admit Matt's ability to not throw up and keep in character whilst the Block was engaged was just incredible! Have to love the Block.
Chris Harris and Rory Reid, appear to both be trying to hard... The beeb should just let those two talk it out without scripts as Chris Harris is very good at that and I'm sure Reid is too. |

Chris Evans - too shouty and doesn't have the gravitas in his voice when talking about a car. Why is the studio stuff so echoey? It wasn't before? It sounds cheap and tinny.
Matt Le Blanc is very cool and he is growing on me, he is adding in some slight Jeoy humour in his role. Chris Harris - knows his stuff but agree he needs to relax and do what he does best Rory Reid - Don't like his style, every other retort or comment is "cool" 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |

May be worth a watch just for those two awesome beasts...
Still believe Extra Gear is a far superior programming achievement... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

Can't stand Chris Evans.
Leblanc is ok. Program did improve a bit, but is not Top Gear. |

I have only seen a few minutes of the new TG, but that American bloke sounds so boring and disinterested! Even John Major sounds interesting by comparison.
The little I have seen reminds me of kids in a playground trying to imitate the old crew, and doesn't seem to work. I do think that if the BBC was determined to keep TG going it should have transformed it into something entirely new and different. It is neither one thing nor the other now. A great shame, and an opportunity missed. |

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but is anyone else starting to enjoy the new to gear? I've found this season rather enjoyable nd definitely funny at times. A huge improvement from last season and before that when Leblanc was on it.
