First picture received via text from dealer today. Would have taken loads myself had I not been informed it was earmarked for someone else.

K9F.
Owned Harley's for years mate and great bikes getting better each year.
But out on a limb here try looking at Victory.
Only my opinion but much better bike for same money Ish.
Harley make the money on you personalising your bike and victory make them that way to start with.
Same big V-Twin but lower centre of gravity so much less leg work to ride. Trust me I know as been all over Europe on them.

Don't get me wrong Harley owners. Not knocking them before you slate me. Lol. Just saying have a look as lots of dosh can be spent.

Cheers Andy.

Lovely, I had an 883 iron with stage 2 v+h pipes. I liked the 48 with wider rear tyre, the tiny tank was a deciding factor for me though.

If you are going to do it right
go all the way with your mid-life crisis and get the bike with the extras:

Thank you Stickleback, I do like the look of your ex-48 it is amazing the different style that can be achieved with the same base model. Not unlike Defender ownership. I know it's American but with a similar heritage and following the potential is there to for me to enjoy the experience as much as the Defender. As WhiskeyJackR touched on "It was one of life's itches that needed to be scratched!" By careful consideration and buying the right ex-demo there isn't much to be lost.

Insurance all sorted with 9 years NCD, all modifications declared and a value of over 12k to include the bike and modifications with Aviva for an old 'Duffer' like me?........£168.

Can't complain at that! Thumbs Up

Few more pictures excuse quality of them:

K9F.....These Beasts all look great! But if it is a mid-life crisis perhaps best to go for a classic Vespa Wink
