Rear supply cable help please
knowledgeable people Bow down

2014 defender

Did i read somewhere that there is a permanent feed behind one of the speakers in the rear.
If so is it a direct feed from the fuse box and what size fuse is it.

I'm thinking of having an auxiliary fuse box fitted for exterior lights.
Also, so i haven't got to run new cables back to the dash i was thinking of a remote control relay for switching, has anyone tried this option.

Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

I think the supply is actually in the main loom on the chassis on 2.2 defenders not behind the speaker cover anymore, remember reading about it on here somewhere

That's the one above all right, it's in my late 2007.

Very interested to know if it is still present in the newest ones..

if you read that thread through, you'll find the feed is still basically there in newer vehicles it's just a little trickier to get at.

20A fuse.
