This will be caused by wear in the drive linkage, it could be the drive gear/crank pin, the rack/wheelboxes, or most likely the cumulative effect of wear in all these places.
It isn't expensive to overhaul the motor gearbox and crank, and replace the rack and wheelboxes, and the wiper performance will be transformed. |

Thanks for the reply Blackwolf. This what I suspect as well! Just hoping that there was an easy fix, not requiring a strip of the dashboard 😕

If it has the pre-Td5 wiper boxes, check the spindle adapters are tight on the wiper shaft which sticks out of the bulkhead. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
