Just driven my 01 TD5 to Spain.
i would liken the aircon to a genteel old lady, sucking an ice cube blowing through a straw |

Much prefer the td5 aircon over the puma aircon. But the heaters are better in the puma.
Maybe they will combine the best bits for defender3 59 2.4 110 XS Utility 55 TD5 110 CSW Special Vehicle |

Ah yes, combine all the best bits of all Landies. Puma heater, power, torque, quietness and 6th gear. Sound of a TD5 (or the V8 as an option if that's how you swing). Return to more aluminium panels. Galvanised bits and bobs from Series Landies. Return of the vents. Metal dashboard with easy maintenance access to everything (TDi or TD5 era dash if we must). Engine reliability and maintenance of TDi... What a dream that would be. I'd sell my kidney to get one! |
