V8 Safari Snorkel for Puma Induction - Pipe Size?
Does anyone have a V8 safari snorkel or could get their hands on one to measure the size of the pipe that exits into the wing?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LAND-ROVER-DEFEN...3f311ec0f9

I think if the pipe dia is large enough (doubt it) it would be a simple way of running a silicone pipe from airbox to intake and do away with the restrictions of the puma pipework, whilst gaining a watertight system.

I suppose one option is to cut the existing pipe off, enlarge the hole and rivet a larger sized pipe to the snorkel exit to maximise the amount of air from snorkel to airbox although the restriction is then the snorkel pipe itself and the 45degree entry into the wing although the air in that section may be forced when driving?

Any comments for/against are welcome

Looking at this I'd say around 80mm as an absolute guesstimate?
