Given a choice between a Britpart air filter for 7 quid and an "original" (Filtron) one for 24 quid, doe you reckon there's much difference? Dealer always fitted them until now so no idea what they used
Cheers Matt p.s. I'm going OEM for the fuel filter Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

It's not really an answer to your question, but we get all our vehicle filters from a website called Inline Filters. You don't usually get a choice who makes the filters, but they've always been always been the decent brands for us (Baldwin, Fleetguard, Mann).
http://www.inlinefilters.co.uk/Filters-Air...FR-CA10615 Gives you some other numbers to look for too It's not really a saving for just one filter, but doing a service on one of our machines and it's half the price of buying filters in JCB boxes, even more so than buying them in Fendt boxes. They're the same stuff underneath at the end of the day, just different colours. |

Many thanks
I've had no experience with the various suppliers but it seems with air filters you can't go that far wrong. I'm not paying 24 quid now I'm ordering several bits from Paddocks so it's not really worth paying twice (to Germany ) for postage but your supplier is a really good tip Cheers Matt Tell someone you love them today because life is short. I once bought a Britpart air filter for my Td5 Disco2, many years ago. It fitted so well that it was impossible to refit the lid with the Britpart filter element in place.
Just one of many reasons why I love Britpart so much. |

Why not go ITG/K & N pay significantly more but pay once? I have been running an ITG for 6 years now with no issues at all. (Before the scoffers and scorners harp on about the oil contaminating the MAF etc.)

They would be great if they are local.
However, 19 quid to send to Germany I think I need a trip to UK to stock up on spares Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

We quote parcels at the maximum rate per 30kg box, if you just need an air filter we would post that instead, at a guess £3.95 postage would cover it Paul Redding
