Shock Absorber Recommendations
Evening all,

I am looking for some advice on shock absorbers for my 2008 110 DCPU. I have a pair of 90 rear springs to go on the front of the truck to 'level' it up a bit to get rid of the very bias nose-down stance, and to take the extra weight of a heavier duty front bumper (no winch, but plan to mount one on a 2" receiver), as well as the steering guard.

When I get round to doing this, it would make sense to me to upgrade the shock absorbers whilst they are removed (rear also of course). I am looking at mid-price range (i.e. Konis are a bit too expensive for my usage) and also to offer a little more articulation.

On my previous 90, I had std height HD springs all round, with standard Terrafirma All-Terrain shocks. I was very happy with this set up, and fitted dislocation cones on the rear as the articulation was far greater. I'd like a similar arrangement on the 110, with good all round roadholding/comfort. I am tempted to go with TF All-Terrain shocks again, but am not convinced with the quality. I was looking at Bilstein B6s, but am unsure these would offer any extra articulation over standard.

Any advice would be much appreciated Thumbs Up Pete

Henry, Fox's are hard! you really have to drive it to enjoy them as they are immense at keeping the car upright but the ride is like a focus rs or something sporty. William
