Had a call from Olaf this morning. He explained me that the SS Airflow Kit for the Puma 2.4 at present is not available from Entreq as he has trouble finding a high quality workshop in Germany who are ready to make the multible bended SS pipes for him in a relatively small number. Olaf is still looking for a replacement quality producer who are ready to produce these intercooler pipes for him as per his (high quality) specs, so the subject is not death, and it may come back. So after the trouble he took to call me and to explain the difficulties at length will sit back and wait for further news from him.

Entreq must be THE most unreliable company I ever dealt with. Ordered (and paid) some bits and pieces in february, got a mail from Olaf in March and since then it's been dead silence.

Do NOT order anything from him that requires pre-payment! 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition

Entreq used to have an excellent reputation for quality and service and they seem now to be taking their eye off the ball. I have a few bits and bobs fitted from Entreq. Makes you reluctant to order. Great shame! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Has anybody here been able to get answer from the totally unreliable company Entreq and its owner Olaf Boecking?

They owe me the money I prepaid as Iīve given up hoping for the ordered parts. 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition

Hello Sven,

I bought a pair of old school defender light surrounds about 5 weeks ago, I emailed had an immediate response. Paid via BACS and the part was shipped and arrived exactly when I was told it would.

Everything was perfect and Olaf kept me informed every step of the way, It couldn't have been an easier transaction?

I don't know what to suggest, from your previous posts it sounds like you spammed him rightly or wrongly with many emails and threatening to attack his website? Do you think he might be upset with this?

Maybe email and apologise, ask politely if the part is in stock and if not please could you have a refund?

Hope you can resolve this well.

After having paid 200 EUR+ I feel I have the right to be upset when a company send me an order acknowledgement and then goes quit for 4 months and no delivery of the items. 2009 Land Rover Defender 90 SVX Soft top 60th Anniversary Edition

Steve B in mitigation Eric seems to have had hassle too on P2.

I've had the Puma 2.4 Stainless Hardpipe kits on stock for about two years now (as supplied to K9F). They can be a real pig to fit......

If anyone may be interested I can vouch for the quality of the stainless pipes offered earlier by Gary at Alive. As stated the silicon angled hoses can be a right b45t4rd to fit but worth the time and effort. Frustration doesn't even come into it when you spend 30 minutes hard graft getting the hose to fit on, decide to have a break and a cup of coffee to return to find it has slipped back off again. It became a battle of wills 'me or the hose' the hose lost and I did get it fitted with heat and a little shampoo. Excellent fit and forget product.

Link will only just begin to describe how I felt..... Rolling with laughter

It is odd? I had no problems at all. I guess with all my Internet shopping something will happen one day, touch wood it won't.

Can your bank help?

Keep trying Sven and be nice even though you feel you have been wronged.

Good luck

As the payment has been done as a bank transfer, the bank can offer little help.

The mails I've sent is very civilized Smile

Sven, that is not good mate,...it's not good for you, & it ain't a good look for Entreq either..
Surely a forum member who has dealt with this company, & who has a good relationship with them, could make an wnquiry on your behalf, to see what's happening?

As there is talk on here about Entreq again, just checked their website and interesting that it continues to get updated, so they seem still alive, in spite of their lack of communication.

Have checked the airflow kit for the Puma 2.4 I am interested in, and it is listed, and the website explicitly says the following... Which seems to confirm that they indeed may have trouble finding the right quality manufacturers...

Quote from their website
Our Airflow kit consists of two handcrafted, thin-walled stainless steel tubes and four matching sheets of silicone hose, reinforced with aramid fibers. Replacing the tubes, the two tubes from the turbocharger to the charge-air cooler and the charge air cooler to the suction pipe.

With the change from tube to tube, an improved engine response is connected, as the pipes can not extend like the long hoses under boost pressure. Occasionally it has happened in the past that the hoses have frayed by projecting components in the engine compartment. This experience we had to do also with our own TD4.

Under this aspect is a remodeling also from the perspective of the operating safety of the vehicle to see and be seen in the long run, quite reasonable.

The Airflow kit is currently not available. Please leave if interested put on the waiting list or order the Airflow kit, but make no payment.

The mistery continues... Actually hope that they get their act together again, for all who have outstanding payments, but also just because their products are absolutely top quality.
