Try asking your local factors for the price of a genuine one. You may be surprised. I think I gave £12+vat for one (in the LR branded box) a couple of years back

I put one of those pound shop rubber "unbreakable" ones on when my original gave up fighting the branches. It was fine untill my eldest tested the vendors claim. You can't sort of tell off a teenager when you're parked on a club stand at a local show needless to say I've constantly reminded him ever since. It is still working fine being held in place with a Duck Tape plaster
