I've fitted these to mine.... You need to drill the body and fit the alloy rivet nuts the add a bead of silicone between the body and guard... I had Brendan Powder coat mine (Black) and you can barely see them fitted... If you need some photo's I'll nip out when it stops raining and take a couple..
Cheers Tim It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse... 2013 Bowler 110 (Sold) 2016 Bowler 90 Rally Spec (Sold) |

Thanks for both replies.
Is it a td5 you have them fitted to ? |

Pics of mine fitted as I thought they should be and sprayed in the black stuff !! Would be goodfor mine if the RH was wider, but I assume it allows for fuel filter on Td5 etc. However from inspection most of the mud spray marks the plate more to the outside anyway.

I had the same problem. I didn't want to fit them incorrectly, especially after paying for them !!

Am I correct in saying that's a 90 they are fitted to ?
Took a few photos this morning of mine (TD5 110). L/H/S outrigger ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge R/H/S ![]() Click image to enlarge ![]() Click image to enlarge It seems I can only fit them "upside down". Still confused, have I the wrong guards ? They don't sit flush on the outrigger either. I fear I've spent a wad of cash on these and they are not for my vehicle. |

DF1 - I have these fitted to a 2010 110 SW, I don't remember having any issues fitting (drop me a PM with your email address and I will send you some pics)
From memory the plates are "sided", when fitted the logos are the correct way up |

I have the same problem, I bought a set of these from 4x4 Overlander and each guard is a different length, but my MY2013 110 SW, the guards need to be the same longer length to fit correctly, if not I would have a 100mm gap at one side for no reason, I have contacted 4x4 Overlander on quite a few occasions, but has been unable to resolve the issue. Its a good useful product if they had supplied a correct fitting set., I can show photos if anyone is interested. JE Zulu 110 now sold
Carpathian 110 also sold Defender 110 camper now in build |

The pics of mine above are on a 110 USW. If you have a 110 3 door, then you won't have the body crossmember that these brackets are designed to protect.

Unfortunately I do not have a set of photos of these guards fitted. Since we are a few thousand miles from home am unable to fit a set and take photos at the same time..
The logo should be the correct way up, they are handed and fit at the front of the rear wheel arch. I will try contacting Olaf and see if he has a set of photos available. Brendan |

Looks to me that the plates you have are not the right shape to be fitted there or not for that particular chassis
I'm not an expert and don't spend much time underneath but are these for the front or rear ? They def don't look like the other ones in the pics Good luck ![]() DC110 -2012 Black with black hood and black x-tech FFRR 4.2 vogue Renault traffic auto PT crusier convertible Laika x700 Motorhome |

I have sent df1 some photos of them fitted to my truck, to be honest it's difficult to get wrong, so I would assume there have been some subtle changes to the underside between td5 and tdci. which is true due to the different middle row seats on the tdci vs the td5.
