We seem to be having a spell of them at the minute! ....
Has something changed or are they just getting lucky? A shame one or two regular users can't have limited moderation power to zap them as soon as spotted  Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant. |

I did observe [Before Martin binned them] that they all seem to register a few days before they start posting .... I'm guessing that's how they slip past the defences? Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

In general terms this forum is pretty unique being quite a busy LR forum but it runs very smoothly with just Martin as admin and mod. Think that says a lot about the regular forum users.
Just ignore the moronic forum spanners and leave it to Martin to get his dust brush and pan out when he has time to do the housekeeping. Brendan |

When I hear about Spam I always think of the Monty Python sketch "Spam, wonderful Spam" so when I see it I think about that rather than whatever c**p they are spouting, but yes a Spam fritter would be nice!

I got inundated with all kinds of rubbish after signing the RFL petition on here. Never again.

If you think this forum gets hit, I think it probably gets off quite lightly. I just went onto the Apple discussions ipad forum and there was a whole page of recent content offering Pakistani female escorts!!!! Every day our school website gets around 4 attempts at spamming, they don't get through as all comments have to be approved. They are generally for spanish speaking fat burning links or money making opportunities in the US- it's a primary school in the UK ffs!
I must be the exception because I regards spam fritters in the same league as spammers - I would rather have my fingernails pulled out than touch one. Barbara |
