Low range indicator
Does anyone have the Low range indicator (green mountain) showing on the dash under the rpm dial when in low range?

The low range graphic exists, you can see it if you shine a bright light on the box section in the rpm dial. Also the wiring diagrams and electrical library describe the electrical circuit. It looks as though it runs direct and not through the ECU. The description in the manual confirms that there is no bulb check when starting.

Maybe a mid-life enhancement.......pending....

There was a discussion on this some time ago - i would be interested to get it working - i tried...couldnt find where the break to stop it - the switch is in place and the cables seem ok - i wondered if it was just no bulb fitted - but didnt want to remove the clock Mike

Why do you need a light to tell you, you're in low range? 110 2.4TDCi

Laughing Laughing

From my experience of UK traffic, motorways are perfect for low range….

WRT low range light - curiosity, for the same reason as to why is the driver’s seat belt warning light not enabled although there is a circuit diagram and description in owner’s handbook.

Am I right in saying the dials are the same as the D3, I think that could be a leftover.

If i'm wrong, i'm sure someone will highlight the error of my ways. Rolling Eyes
