Window not working
Hi I am getting my new 110 at the weekend but the drivers window is not working. Anyone Had issues with them before ?
It's a 2008 puma. Are the switches known to fail or is there a relay somewhere.

My money is on the cables that run in the rubber trunking from the door frame to the door being damaged.

They have been known to cause problems.

You should be able to investigate and repair easily.

As above. Cable from post to door. When you pull the rubber sleeve back it will be one of the two fat wires. Give them a good pull.

I had a bust motor on the driver's door. Just needed replacing. It had just burnt out.

I don't think it cost very much to replace. I didn't do it myself.

Managed a temporary reair as the wife was heading out. Could not get the rubber sleeve pared back far enough so I had to slit the rubber sleeve underneath to gain access. Seems it was a break in a previous repair. The break is at the very bottom where the rubber sleeve enters behind the door trim. Does'nt seem to pull forward from the door. Is the only way of accessing this to prise away the bottom of the door trim? I would like to make a better repair and push the join in behind the door trim to stop any strain on the repair. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
