ok.......
I have now fitted the centre and right hand side of the console (it comes in 3 sections). Easy installations I must admit. One or two hickups - nothing major. They want you to drill a 4mm hole into the door frame top, but also fit a 4mm self tapping screw. Drill using a 3,5mm rather. And the first step suggest removing a fir tree fastener at the same location, but I kept it in .Didn't make sense to remove it... Using it will be the ultimate test though...... I think it's quite sturdy and it looks the part for sure!!! This should come standard with any landy!!!!!! |

Were they saying remove the fir tree and make use of that hole instead of drilling another? Steve.

they didnt mention that that was the case - just to remove it. But the hles doesnt line up anyways so you have to drill new ones in any case. Just leave those fir trees (save the planet) Will post some pics once I get a chance! |
