co-incidently my Paddocks steering guard (complete with holes Laughing ) was delivered today.

I must confess I couldn't give a toss about protecting the steering - it just looks pretty. I'll fit it tomorrow if its not too cold. There were no instructions so I phoned them and the guy said 'you don't need any - its obvious when you offer up the brackets' - with an attitude as if I'd just asked for the picture of a 2 piece jigsaw puzzle ! Embarassed

Mine came back from the menders (insurance claim) with a brand new LR steering guard that was never there before. Result!
No holes in that one either.

just fitted mine this morning (excuse the shaky pic). Bolts came off easily. Its not quite straight but I'll adjust it another day. That plus the light guards completes the 'designer utility - I'll never use this thing in anger' look. Can't help thinking, however, that a couple of monster shackles/jate rings whatever would look great hanging off the towing eyes Cool

Me neither! As mentioned I've just taken my guard off to get repowdercoated black Just an idea how it may suit, I got some stainless steel 'bow shackles' from a chandlers to fit......
