Fuel pump wiring for cutoff
I'm fitting a tracker with a relay to cutoff the fuel. Please can someone tell me if/where the fuel pump wiring runs in the Puma 2.4 engine compartment and the closest point to get at it through the bulkhead?

Perhaps PM me as it's a sensitive matter? I'll post again if/when I get an answer.

Loads of thanks for any help y'all can give... and apologies if it's a bloody stupid question Whistle

Cheers

This is a publically accessible forum.
Should you really be broadcasting to the world what protection system you are using?

.......or am I paranoid?

Cutting off fuel as security is widely discussed on the forum (and completely obvious as a protection) - however, how to do it is not for public broadcast, hence my request for PMs Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

Sorry, but I wouldn't even announce whether I'd got an aftermarket system on mine.

............or not.

I realise you've a valid point. I guess I feel a bit too safe here in Germany - I really want the security for when I visit the UK Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.

All I am going to add to this post is be very careful in how and what you tie into the Pumas wiring, the pump bit you are on about is controlled directly by the EMS ECU, Whistle

This fuel hydraulic lock option from X Eng is the next security project for my Puma (I have identified two good places that are out of sight but allow key access)and may be worth considering for yours Matt instead of cutting into the engine harness. Just a thought.. Thumbs Up

Thanks Brian - you've also made me twice about giving control of my fuel pump to a Chinese tracker box whilst doing 140 km/h down the Autobahn Shocked
