110 X-Tech Wanted
Hi All.

Since seeing a rather nice 110 X-tech on here I have defender envy. I have got in touch regarding one on autotrader and including Vat is just shy of £37K.....ouch! They have offered me just shy of a grand off my purchase price of my 08 plate 90 which a year on and 15,000 extra miles I don't think is too bad but is still a lot for it.

Anyone know of any out there apart from this, needs to be a 110 for the room and not the dreaded highest tax rate. Or am I getting a reasonable rate and not to be a Scrooge.

Opinions please and I am hoping not too many 'hens teeth' remarks come back Smile

I'd also be open to any suggestions for something of a similar spec if anyone has heard of something on the grape vine Smile ===================================

That's the chestnut, but is 'plus vat' which is where it gets me, I am but a kid with a desk job, so would just have to swallow the vat which takes it up to £36.5 k ish.

This one is way better equiped than an X-Tech and has loads of extras, paint is cheap you could soon spray it x tech colours if needed. Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

Is that before or after vat? Was I being completely ripped off?

FYI all..... Not a big fan of vat.... I'm going to speak to McDonalds and Apple and see how they get round taxes Cool ===================================

Have you thought about buying a normal utility and spec it up yourself. I was going to buy an xtech, but am not allowed ( supposidly all have been snapped up by dealers) so I will be buying another utility and spec it with a few bits so the look is similar.

Yeah I suppose, will just have to see as this one is a long term purchase, I said that about my 90 but its just not big enough for my needs. Especially if I want to go exploring in Europe etc or family holidays. ===================================
