11 years ago today

I can't believe it was 11 years ago - I was in my Disco 2 commercial driving from Bristol to London listening to events on the radio ....

2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Rimini Red

I was in my truck (photo of it with my tdi) at the time quite concerned as a very good and old friend lived in NY and was an ex cop too.

Just over a month later I was in hospital myself with 5 broken vertebra in my back and 3 in my neck plus numerous other injuries. I never drove my truck again and it took 10 months before I could drive the 110. So those couple of months really stand out to me not only because of the terrible price of this inhuman terrorist attack but also because it was the year my life changed forever.
