Collected my "new" trailer:
Click image to enlarge It is a military M416 trailer, converted to off-road camping trailer, with lid made from from a roof. It has already many miles "experience" - it has been to China along the Silk Road! To do: I plan to replace the gas springs, the old ones are not strong enough to lift the lid with roof rack and sand plates in place. Also a good clean, sanding down and some fresh coats of paint (white roof, epsom green body). Cheers, Vincent 1959 Polynorm 1/4 Ton Trailer, Olive Drab Green (sold) 1970 M416 Military Trailer (Camping Trailer Conversion), Epsom Green (sold) 1975 Series III 88 V6, Light Green (sadly sold) 1996 Defender 110 CSW 300 Tdi, Epsom Green (sold) 2000 Freelander 1 TD4 3-drs, Silver (sold) 2006 Freelander 1 TD4 5-drs Facelift Automatic, Tonga Green (sold) MySite |

I drove mine yesterday, for the first time in 3 weeks
I bought a wheel mounted bike rack, so I can take my bike when I'm towing the caravan. My pendle rack wont allow me to do this. Tools for the job |
