Is anybody using their Pumas offroad in dusty conditions and finding "issues" with the air filter life?

Hi Tim - think it was your link I followed
Guess there isn't too much dust in the UK at the moment... it'll be interesting to hear the results of the first person to take a Puma to North Africa somewhere, best pack a few spare filters based on what I have seen. |

Tim - best get some filters sorted for our trip by the looks of it, plus the sump issue. Cheers

, the list grows,, Filters, sump pan, axle breathers, by the sounds of it, (even though LR say they are not required ) California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

Sorry to drag up a old thread !!
After a very dusty Spain/Portugal trip,, checked the filter a couple of time, and all not too bad, certainly not enough to warrant changing it,, Maybe the RAI made a difference California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

I'll let you know in a month's time. I won't have time or money to fit a RAI, am off to the Pyrenees for a couple of weeks. Will report back with my findings 110 D250 SE HT

I am in my way back from Western Sahara, no problem so far with the air filter (although I have fitted a snorkel) but on the other side a dodgy gearbox make all sort of noises, a vacuum pump gone with a fair bit of oil all over the place.
Otherwise air filter was not an issue even after massive sand storms all over in the South |
