hello
hello all thought i would introduce myself.i am an international truck driver currently in greece on my way home from istanbul.i drive a 110 county an have taken it to the adriatic coast in croatia for the last 2 years without any major problems,3000 mile round trip!had a 90 before but the chassis gave up so i bought something a bit newer and bigger.i would really like to stop driving and work with land rovers but no training so who knows Smile

After I left the army I drove for a living both artics and cranes but the DOT medical branch took all my entitlements (but not my tracked though which was strange) away after I had an accident. I had very little in the way of qualifications (other than my military qualifications) so had to start all over again. I work in an office for an engineering and specialist lift company now as a manager. I hate it but it’s a job and pays the bills (just). I have a dream of doing light haulage with a 110/130 drop side with an ifor on the back but that’s sadly all it is, a dream.

However I know what it’s like being weekended aboard, spending weeks away at a time while your children grow up. I do have empathy with you dilemma.
