She is at the moment but I'm pleased I stripped the grill/surrounds off as the "carriers" are coated mild steel which in time will corrode badly and cause bi-metal corrosion to the wings.
I intend to remove the carriers fully and coat with waxoyl then build up with stainless or titainium screws and copper slip to hopfully prevent the inevitable ali worm Also a genuine soft bar and genuine driving lights going on I'm still pondering on a DRL bumper? Tbh I didn't like the SVX grille when introduced but after living with it for a while it grows on you and the driving lights are superb.
On yours I'd go for colour coded or a pearl black? I've seen CRs in the flesh (Irish guy on here) it's in matte and on hi black 110 is brilliant Formerly mao99999 16 Focus RS Nitrous Blue. 11 FFRR TDV8 Vouge SE Black Black. 08 DEFENDER SVX SOFT TOP (SUPERB) 08 DEFENDER 110 DCPU Stornoway grey (Overland Exploration Unit) 05 Fiesta ST 150 Van 04 Jaguar XKR 4.2 Supercharged V8 02 DEFENDER 90 TD5 (next years soft top project) 95 DEFENDER 110 CSW 300 TDi Phoenix black 95 DEFENDER 90 HT Monti Carlo blue COUNTY 300 TDi 67 109" SERIES 2a TUNED 200 TDI 64 DAVID BROWN 990 rat look 55 86" SERIES 1 |

yer it would have to be colour coded i think with black inserts the black on black does look smart i liked alive's 90 they done but tbh if i had a svx i would have to leave it the original silver it just has to be unless i was gonig for a stealth look

Yup the SVX has to look as it was designed. All my mods are going to be totally reversible as factory looking units always retain their value. I'm in a dilemma wether to fit my Mantec swing a way wheel carrier as to do so would involve drilling holes as well as making a side pivot tailgate? In theory carrier painted silver would look factory and be awful lot more practical than the spare inside but not a easily reversible mod without paint? i would go for stuff like that mate, them upgrades are improvements but without loosing the characteristics of the 90. the wheel carrier either colour coded black or silver would look good as it would match the cage
