United Kingdom 2000 Defender 90 Td5 SW Zambezi Silver
My TD5 90 and other pride and joy..
Well people this is my Defender it's a 2000 TD5 with 50k on the clock, I will update the picture tomorrow as it's changed a little in the month that I have owned it.

I got rid of all the stickers instantly!!! I have fitted a tubular winch bumper and Superwinch EPi9 winch, front light guards, Raptor dash, momo steering wheel, dog guard, and a 1.4 transfer box.
I want to get rid of the alloys and fit modulars and tyres with a more aggressive tread BFG AT or General Grabber AT's. Also fit black alloy wing tops and bonnet protector, window guards and a roof rack. It's a working Landy but also my pride and joy, well except for my 400bhp Nissan Silvia...

No I don't do all that hooligan drifting stuff she is set up for fast road handling and does it very well.. No cheap ebay rubbish fitted, all genuine Japanese tuning parts and fitted by myself.. I love showing the 911, M3/M5, AMG owners that you can with a Nissan..

I should have taken a photo when I picked it up, there were 7 stickers in each rear window about 6 on the rear, 4 on the inside of the rear door, one in each alpine glass. The man went mad!!

I have also had to replace the front wheel bearing, rear gearbox seal, steering bars (bent) affecting the tracking hugely, prop shaft UJ's, all fluids, repair reverse light connection, replace spotlamp relay (fitted upside-down so filled with water!) rewire botched hazard warning switch, re bleed clutch.

All in the first month of ownership..
Don't you just love Defenders... and their previous owners who trust their mate who works at a stealership as a fitter to do their maintenance..... Crying or Very sad
But hey I'm on top of the job now and have a very smooth driving 90 well happy.. He would be sick if he drove it now to find out how it really should be like..

Also good when I can out brake and handle them too, I fitted 356mm discs all round and 8 pot calipers front 6 pot rear. Performance friction pads £328 per set.. Big Cry Big Cry but hey demon late braking is class..
And RSR Super I Coilovers with Titanium springs, 32 way adjustable rebound/compression damping. Put that with flatshift and launch control it takes a real fancy badge and driver to catch me.. Laughing Laughing Laughing
So I can go fast and go anywhere... Now I have the Defender...

Twin batteries...
I managed to squeeze two Numax CXV31MF sealed lead acid batteries under the seat today Shocked
Got two new ones fro £40 each from a local supplier with 6 months guarantee too..

Was a tight squeeze like but will be pukka for my winch. I'm using a marine spec diode split charger for charging of them just need to get the cables routed nicely to the winch now, Iv'e fitted an isolator switch ready and Anderson plug jumplead set up in the side of the seat box. getting bits and bobs done each day and only minor cuts and grazes up to press..
