You should go for Alives ATRIC, you can then do it remotely from home.
Gary (the owner) would be able to talk you through it. No Guts, No Glory.

+1 for Bell Auto Services.
Pete's 150 map for my 2012 2.2 Puma made a massive difference to the way it drove. I went for the remote DIY installation which was very easy to do and was money well spent. At the time I think the insures ,LV, only wanted an extra ยฃ20 or so in increased annual premiums. I ran the Defender for a couple of years with no problems whatsoever. I also have no link with the company, just a happy customer. |

Before going for a remap I would replace the intake ducting between the airbox ( contains air filter) and the wing side air intake. This pipework is highly restrictive and can be replaced with a much larger bore hose. This will allow the engine to breath much better and help with the MAP.

Photo courtesy of Yannis from page 10 in the link above which I have image edited.
Iโm unsure what the yellow part is with the screw installed is, but the part I have surrounded in green is the part that is cut out, this is after the job has been done. The black plastic in the blue area is what would be removed, the photo is from after the job was competed.** Click image to enlarge No Guts, No Glory.

I used Ian @ IRB Developments. Heโs based in the Midlands but a good service and well worth the money.
Mine is a 2013 with the stage 1 and itโs transformed how it drives. Alex 2013 2.2 TDCi Puma Hard Top https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic72473.html |

^ This After buying my 2.2 90 I was quite frankly horrified at the performance, I am also from down South and most of the turners, Alive, BAS, are way up North. I headed to IRB Developments, Ian was superb, he spent a lot time explaining everything, the map has made a huge difference to the drivability. - Highly recommended and worth the journey. |
