As far as I know the you will have to access the pedal box.. In there you will find a threaded rod running through a trunion and there are adjustment nuts either side of the trunion which will adjust pedal height and pedal free movement..
My manual mentions a bolt accesssble on the front face of the pedal box been used to alter pedal height but on mine that is definate ly not the case.. That bolt only limits the downward stroke of the pedal.. There are most probably differences in pedal boxes so you would have to check, or someone may know when the changes took place👍 |

1. As Andy stated, also check that the master cylinder push rod is ‘free’ when the clutch pedal is released. Thats to ensure that the non return valve is working properly and no residual hydraulic pressure remains in the lines.
2. If it is Td5, check that the fuel pressure regulator is not leaking. That can cause the clutch to slip. 3. As Andy63 mentioned, it’s fairly easy to do, just make sure it’s not loose once you’re finished adjusting.

Technically it's not a non return valve but just an open path between the reservoir and the slave cylinder through the master cylinder so that the slave cylinder is free moving and resetting for clutch wear. |
