Creaking drivers seat
l've got a creaking from the drivers seat, under my bum. You can feel it rather than hear it and it's a bit annoying.

Once l figured out it wasn't my joints creaking (lol) l need to fix it.

ls it possible to dismantle the seat base and put some oil on what ever is the culprit. Has anyone had similar? lt's the basic cloth seat with no massage function or seat cooling etc.

lf l put my hand under my bum while driving l can determine there's a definite point where the creaking is coming from.

Well this is clearly an issue that nobody else has experienced.

l don't think l would need that as l weigh only 70kg

I'll try to dismantle it and see if l can determine what it is.

lf l put my hand on the seat under my bum l can feel something bouncing up and down when l drive over anything other than a perfectly smooth surface and you can't stop it by pressing down on it.

Very strange.

You were correct

lt was the wiring for the heated seat, l secured it with a cable tie and the fault is fixed.

Nice!

Could you access it without tearing the seat down?
