I'm looking for a set of bumperettes for the rear of my Puma 110.
The Safari Equip ones look like the best ones for me. Apparently (just called them) the design is changed slightly between the TD5 and the Puma, so it's Puma-specific ones I need. Anyone got any for sale (or know where I can get a "deal")? Don't mind a bit of repainting if needed ![]() If anyone else is interested, we could approach Safari Equip for a group buy? Maybe one of the "dealers" (Sonic, Brendan) can get them for us if there's enough interest for a group buy? Cheers Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's) |

Martin,
if you have a mantec spare wheel carrier, make sure they still fit |

Yep, £127 + carriage + vat, so around £170 all in. Probably some of the most expensive bumperettes out there, but they are nice (as Zag confirms)! I have spent a lot on the Defender since buying only 1 month ago! Noisekiller, Dinitrol, tow bar, Nakatanenga glove box, side steps, mats, TGE panel kit, full oil change, roof rack...everything I "need" when buying the new Defender.... (I would add it up but the cost would scare me! Must be at least £1000 over and above the cost of the actual Defender ![]() ![]() Paddock & Devon4x4 (Bearmach ones I think) do similar stuff for around £60 +vat+delivery... Yes the Safari Equip ones are a lot more then other makes. Some people say you get what you pay for.
I have seen some of these cheap bumperettes. ![]() ![]() Will try and post some photos up in next couple of days. It is your money, your choice. Please ensure that any after market kit that you buy is compatible with anything else you might want to buy in the future. Brendan |

Equipe not Safari Equip, they are Italian and prefer pasta than chips and gravy

The cheaper ones fit closer into the rear cross member and to fit a swingaway wheel carrier you have to carve a chunk out like this.

Nice one Brendan.
For me it was transparent, I had a mantec spare wheel carrier fitted by a local indy and they shortened the bumperette and re-fitted the chequer plate, it was not until i removed them from my old 110, I found out they'd chopped them down. (they need a paint too) ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Can't see your point from this photo? The bumperette doesn't appear to have any bends or kinks in it so not sure how the damage to the wing happened or is related. Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated ![]() |
